Short description

The design concept is a fusion of inspiration from ink-dyeing and the setting sun. Using a calm and introverted grey tone as the foundation, the space highlights the vitality of the green trees outside the window. When light pours in, the grey walls and floors create a peaceful atmosphere. Coral orange embellishments make the entire space more vibrant and warm, as if a beam of sunshine is shining into the space.

The entrance foyer features black wood veneer and paint, setting a tone of solidity and depth as one enters the interior space. The gray painted ceiling extends into the living room, echoing the subtle gradations of ink wash painting and enhancing the coherence and unity of the space.

In order to break away from the conventional use of warm and subdued color schemes in residential spaces, an attempt was made to incorporate coral orange. Interestingly, despite the use of vivid colors in the space, the overall atmosphere still exudes a sense of calm and harmony. A small area of coral orange paint is subtly concealed at the end of the sculptural TV wall, catching the light and evoking the subtle radiance of a sunset, adding a touch of vitality and warmth to the tranquil space. Conversely, across from the TV wall, a large area of coral orange paint serves as a unique backdrop for the dining table, offering users a sense of transition in different scenarios, creating a comfortable living space where vibrancy and tranquility coexist.

Design techniques such as interweaving, virtual reality, and floating are used between the walls, cabinets, and shelves to achieve balance and magnification. Elements are intertwined, closely linked, and repaired to present a pure and elegant atmosphere in the entire space. In such a quiet and elegant space, people can sit and forget the outside noise, have a conversation with themselves, and turn their home into a living container that reflects their innermost self.
