Casa L.H.
Architects Office

Short description
Casa L.H. is a family office in Jaraguá do Sul, working in tandem with the client's house across the street. The site, located in front of the Itapocu River and featuring a beautiful, vegetated protected area, offered an ideal setting for this development. The design involved an 800-square-meter building, organized into six programmatic blocks across three main axes: living and flexible use areas, workspaces for the client and family, and wellness facilities, including a sauna and fitness area. A central service block supports these areas.
The design maximizes the site's potential by reconfiguring its original triangular shape into an oval, trinuclear layout that distributes the blocks around the perimeter, preserving the center for circulation. A gently sloping ramp ensures accessibility, complemented by a staircase for 360-degree functionality. Engineered wood, including MLC and CLT, is used for construction, with concrete bases for moisture protection.
Interior design focuses on optimizing space with Brazilian furniture and natural materials, emphasizing rock and wood, and extensive glass for transparency. Ongoing energy and bioclimatic analyses aim to ensure effective ventilation and solar energy use, with shading studies for optimal light control. The project integrates with the natural environment and meets the client's sustainable needs.
