As the "daytime dining and nighttime drinking" becomes a trendy new business model, Fangman Ting Cantonese Restaurant has long stood at the forefront, breaking new ground in the current era of consumption upgrading. The new Yuelu Road branch in Zhenjiang is located on a bustling commercial street, surrounded by numerous shops and a vibrant atmosphere. With a distinctive and chic overall design, it presents a fresh and different appearance, attracting passersby to stop and visit. Adhering to the traditional catering framework, the design continues the past spatial design philosophy. This project still holds the vision of "creating a multi-dimensional artistic space" to create a poetic atmosphere for all five senses. Using the overlapping forms and colors of different types of flowers and plants, combined with the integration of light, shadow, materials, and spatial language, the commercial space is injected with an immersive scene experience, easily transitioning between the functions of a restaurant and a bar. The entrance is constructed with a heavy rust-red tone, mesh, and brick components to create a square and neat layout, brewing a steady and reserved atmosphere in a low-key manner. The brand logo is bathed in golden warm light, sharing the present feast with the visitors in the interplay of light and darkness. As the evening sun shines through the windows, foliage surrounds the entrance of Fangman Ting, presenting an elegant and natural ambiance that manifests the artistic temperament of the building within the ebb and flow. Wooden tones spread throughout the eyes, giving a warm feeling akin to returning home. Green plants on the walls, responding to the entrance, create a flexible and transparent visual experience with variations in height. As one follows the changing scenery, red walls and green plants become interior artworks, generating diverse movement patterns. The varied greenery and metal lighting fixtures complement each other, creating a dynamic spatial hierarchy. The circular light pool resembles natural light, and the collision between blue seating and rust-red brings a natural vitality that sweeps away any oppressive feelings, leaving only leisure and comfort. After the midnight meal, drinks are served. When the light dims and the greenery flourishes, emotions are no longer confined to social interactions but flow freely with the relaxed atmosphere. Engaging in past memories or simply letting the mind wander, immersing oneself in the natural vitality and the present moment reveals the true essence of dining and drinking.
Ascending the steps, bathed in the golden light of wood, the lush and vibrant trees shape a braided wall, softly guiding people to the second-floor private rooms. Creating a wild and interesting atmosphere indoors, the vigorous branches extend unique postures outside the white walls, while high and low shrubs intertwine among floral lanterns and white stones. The corridor becomes a fusion of artificial and natural scenery, laying the foundation for a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Inside the square private rooms, the simple wooden tones soothe the soul, straight lines bring stability, hidden lights in the pool, flowers leaning in color – warmth and human feelings emerge, adding an intimate touch. Alternatively, the round mirrored ceiling reflects the meaning of reunion, highlighting the spatial temperament with a balance of complexity and simplicity. Colors vary in intensity, flowers in wood are bright, and in elegance and lightness, the space expands transparently, showcasing the joy of dining and drinking. Both inside and outside the space, plants and architecture coexist, creating a unique scene of romantic atmosphere and comfortable experience. Dining in the flickering light and shadows, or gathering for a meal in an elegant and serene atmosphere, Fangman Ting Cantonese Restaurant, through the creation of an artistic space, has upgraded its brand style, shining with a fashionable new appearance in the modern trend. While enhancing the dining experience, it has also garnered more attention and praise from people.
