Short description

In the sports hall project at the Pudong Campus of Guanghua Education Group in Shanghai, our design team aims to create a comprehensive and diverse fitness space.
In terms of color selection, we have chosen blue as the main design element to convey a sense of stability and calmness, balancing the tension between the competing parties. The use of blue in a neutral black, white, and gray space will highlight an understated sense of atmosphere. We will incorporate blue accents in the lighting, furniture, and signage to both invigorate the space and add visual focal points. To ensure the stability of the ping pong tables, we have selected PVC materials that are wear-resistant and soundproof. The use of soundproofing materials for the flooring not only helps block the spread of noise during activities but also reduces the impact transmitted to the same floor, providing a better user experience. To enhance the coherence and transparency of the space, we will separate different sports areas with floor-to-ceiling glass and metal mesh. This not only ensures unobstructed sightlines but also provides a sense of continuity and lightness between the areas. In addition, we have designed circular patterns and arrow signage on the floor to guide the flow of people in the gym and define safe walking areas.
In the equipment area, we have combined black, white, and gray colors with orange accents to create a dynamic and energetic atmosphere. The design of the multi-purpose activity room includes warm-toned wooden flooring and clean white walls. Linearly arranged light tubes on the ceiling create a warm and quiet space for students to study and engage in physical activities.
The design of the restroom features fresh and elegant washbasins, with circular mirrors arranged in a row and embedded in circular blue patterns, presenting a rounded aesthetic. The lighting behind the mirrors provides soft illumination, enhancing the depth of the mirrors. Through these space designs, our team has created a comfortable and energetic fitness venue for the Pudong Campus of Guanghua Education Group. Such a design will inspire their interest in sports and motivation to learn.
