The Premiata Latteria Perenzin Museum

Studio Andreani - Spazi di Valore

Short description

The Premiata Latteria Perenzin Museum project is characterised by a multisensory design approach that focuses on engaging visitors through a series of tactile, visual and gastronomic experiences. The core of the project is to create a physical, culinary and emotional interaction between people and the built environment, using targeted scenographic devices to narrate the history of the dairy, from its foundation to the present day. An overall concept aimed at enhancing the brand, generating empathy between the visitor and the environment of the museum.
The functional programme of the exhibition route is structured around eleven project areas designed to explore the production processes of the prestigious dairy, thus recreating an emotional journey through the company's 125-year history. The tour provides an immersive experience from the very beginning: a room completely lined with wooden planks found in the old warehouses, where the moulds of the cheese are still engraved, and from which the journey continues among the numerous international awards collected by the company, displayed to celebrate its successes throughout its history.
The project is designed to maximise the scenographic aspects of the work and the spaces that make up the activities, where visitors can experience the authentic atmosphere of the dairy by browsing through the collections and objects on display: historical photographs and letters, milk processing tools and an entire wall dedicated to the famous butter produced in the dairy. The visit ends in the Degustarium: an area created to stimulate the five senses and the tasting of the excellent products of the Premiata Latteria Perenzin.
