The Prism House - offers you a highly unique experience of living fully exposed to the environment and at the same time as a haven of peace, tranquility and security. With a direct connection between humans and nature
With this house for rest, we wanted to disconnect from the city lights, the noise of the cars, the pollution and connect with the nature that the place offers us.
The concept/idea arises from the history of the place, with the desert navitve American communities, how they lived in their traditional adobe houses or in the caves.
Based on a rectangular prism, we develop the zoning of the areas with a horizontal and functional concept. The construction system of the house is RSG 3-D panel, a very energy efficient system based on concrete and foam panels, especially for extreme climates. The energy we consume in this house came from the solar panel system.
