Located on the banks of the Yangtze River, the Union Center blends the profound cultural heritage and poetic urban life of Wuhan's "slow" aspect with the vibrant Jiangcheng culture and open urban backdrop, representing Wuhan's "trendy" new chapter. This art space, designed to be visual, sensory, and tactile, integrates Wuhan's multifaceted charm. In a world of fast and slow dynamics, it serves as a spiritual retreat that harmonizes contemporary aesthetics with poetic urban vitality. Through scene creation, fostering empathy: the moment you push open the door, it's as if you're embarking on a journey of exploration and return, a liberating voyage. Follow the flow of space, transitions between scenes, and the shifting of functions, fully indulging in the emotional resonance that "home" brings. Bringing the classical garden pavilions indoors, creating a space for inner exploration. The use of natural wood tones and waffle-patterned ivory marble, with subtle color contrasts, continues the relaxed atmosphere of a vacation retreat. The layers, arrangement, and changes of light and shadow vividly emerge through the wooden lattice. As time intertwines and a gentle breeze stirs, vibrant greenery and flowing light create a sense of mystery in the whitespace. Stepping into the foyer, the heart softens at this moment of closeness to nature. Following the light, entering with a sudden clarity, the GALLERY space illuminates the inspiration of life. Artist Duan Yifan's unique lacquer artwork, within the symphony of light and shadow, interprets the tension of life's beauty. At the corner, a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window unfolds like an unfurled scroll, revealing the vast Yangtze River and the undulating cityscape in all their splendor. Gazing out from the window, one sees the magnificent skyline adorned with golden brilliance, a grandeur admired by the world. It also presents a view of the misty mountains and rivers stretching over thousands of miles, where the gentle breeze and serene skies offer a boundless expanse of freedom. In this scene, the introduction of the tea station is the finishing touch, endowing the entire space with an Eastern poetic charm. A moment of leisure is captured, brewing a cup of tea, capturing both the beauty of the river city and the bustling human life. The time lingers here, gently spreading comfort and peace of mind. Compared to the spacious and bright tea tasting area, the guest reception area carries a deeper cultural charm. Here, traditional meets contemporary, art intertwines with daily life, conveying a more inclusive lifestyle through intricate details. Bulgari marble, embedded between dark wooden floors, sets a rich cultural backdrop in the reception lounge. Jade-carved bookshelves gleam with the luster of time and wisdom, while the fireplace dances with the flames of art and the warmth of life. The modern reinterpretation of Zhao Danian's Northern Song painting "Twilight at Pine Slope" on gold foil, alongside contemporary artist Zhu Lan's abstract ink wash paintings, brings a collision of culture and art. Together, they weave a visual and tactile feast where the boundaries between classical and modern, nature and craftsmanship blur. The essence of art and culture stirs the vitality of the space. The mottled white patterns of snowflake stone, reminiscent of early winter snowfall, create a tranquil and elegant atmosphere in the abstract space. A long table of white stone complements this ambiance, enhancing the relaxed aesthetic of gatherings with its soft hues. The 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows break the silence of the space, inviting natural light and views of the winding river into the interior. Here, life and art harmonize; during twilight, the lingering sunset glow becomes the most precious flavor upon this long table. Beyond the dining area, the "playful" spaces surely include the cigar room and wine room. After-meal moments, lifting a glass in these intimate settings, invite a leisurely continuation of conviviality in the second half. Wrapped in a soft palette, the combination of wall, ceiling, and floor exudes tranquility and composure, swiftly easing one's guard. Each awakening morning fills the room with gentle light and dancing shadows, awakening the beauty of life painted by sunlight.
