Short description

The project is located in Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Zone, the center of Wuhan's Optics Valley, the regional core of Wuhan. People who are familiar with Wuhan will introduce him in this way - big river, big lake, big Wuhan, the word "big" sums up the unique preferences of people living in the city on the river.
So, from the very beginning, we were exploring what kind of space could give the people in the land a more than expected living scene, after all, this is Wuhan's Optics Valley, where a group of the most imaginative people gather. We tried to explore two relationships in the site from the elevated and floating sales building: hiding and leakage, and permeable and floating, in an effort to achieve a boundless integration of architecture, landscape and nature.
we designed the project in three main aspects.
01—Hidden and Leaky - Relationship between the interior of the site and the urban interface
Hidden: In the midst of the bustling city, a pure urban art gallery is enclosed, and the natural greenery of the municipal greenery on one side creates a sense that the building is hidden in the urban green forest.
Leakage: Through artistic techniques, it adopts a permeable, open and inclusive attitude at the corner of the road and the urban display interface, reflecting with the city's main roads. Driving on the road, you can find its unique existence without stopping deliberately.
02—Floating building: The building, as the art and living pavilion of the project, with its unique bottom elevated design, introduces the external environment into the elevated floor to increase the sense of spatial breathing and permeability, and through the interpenetration between the blocks, raises the building block space from the line of sight to create the sense of floating of the building.
Boundless landscape: the overhead level of the building, the second floor podium and the sunken courtyard can be used as the scenario interaction relationship of multi-dimensional landscape in the perspective of landscape. The overhead floor is extended by waterscape, blurring the spatial boundary and creating a sense of boundlessness of the overhead floor; the second floor podium uses borderless waterscape to create a sense of boundlessness by borrowing the mountain view of the park; the sunken courtyard uses a large area of waterscape + green island to introduce indoor sight lines and create a sense of borderlessness of the indoor pool. The water curtain connects the three levels of borderless landscape, creating a sense of borderlessness in the overall landscape space.
03—In terms of spatial intention, we start from the floating building above the river city, on the bank of the park, and create the Floating Realm - Future Art Museum of City Investment Summit, with "floating city island" as the design inspiration, dialogue with nature, the sky and clouds converge here, framing the water and sky, with its unique ethereal purity, integrating modernity, art and space in one. With the surreal approach of "find the realm - step on the wave - meet the island - see the mountain - watch the waterfall - return to the heart" as the line, the interpretation of "the realm of things - the realm of ideas - the realm of the heart" three realms of space, presenting the future aesthetic realm, looking for the simplicity and purity of inner yearning.
The display area of City Investment-Leading Peak is a borderless floating, outlining the realm of future aesthetics. It is both a showcase of the city and an extension of the future aesthetic life, as well as a unique Netflix hitting scenery. We hope to add a unique color to the city without affecting the growth form of the city, so that it becomes the most beautiful existence at the moment.
