Short description
Designed through close dialogue between internationally acclaimed architects SAOTA and locally based Beham Architekten, who have a comprehensive understanding of the local architectural identity, culture and environment. In a considered response, I captured the expansive contemporary villa in a way to demonstrate its relationship with the picturesque lake and surrounding Alpine mountains. The perspectives accentuate the vernacular architectural forms, proportions and materiality by composing the villa against the dramatic backdrop and in the play of evening golden light.
