Short description
I was in architecture school when Dubai was chosen as one of the candidate cities to bid to host the Expo 2020. My thesis project in 2013 was based on Dubai's proposal of the Expo 2020. Later that year Dubai won its bid to host the World Expo 2020.
With my already extensive research about the Expo and Dubai tagging it as the World's Greatest Show, I had been eagerly looking forward to visiting and photographing the pavilions.
During the duration of the Expo I spent most of time photographing the various country pavilions. Here I share with you a selection of my favorite images.
