Short description

A family of four from India, who have been residing in Hong Kong for many years, embarked on a journey to create a living environment that caters to the diverse needs of each family member. This double apartment design offers a practical space of 2,229 square feet. Placing great importance on family life, the design incorporates a bar area in the dining room, providing a convenient space for the owners to enjoy leisurely gatherings with friends. Taking into consideration the family's religious practices, we ingeniously added a small temple in the guest rooms, seamlessly blending it with an elegant light European style. When not being used by guests, the room can also serve as a yoga space, embracing both spiritual and physical well-being.

Each bedroom has been enhanced in terms of functionality and storage space, striking a delicate balance between individuality and space planning, resulting in a graceful and charming haven that exudes a sense of relaxation. The master ensuite underwent layout changes to merge several rooms, creating a harmonious master suite that blends seamlessly with the living room. The suite boasts an elegant pure white Continental style, while the bathroom showcases sophisticated tile accents. A semi-open layout was incorporated to include a study area and a walk-in closet, expanding the overall functionality of the master suite.

In addition to the small temple in the guest rooms, each of the daughters' bedrooms underwent spatial adjustments to optimize storage capacity. Unique design elements and different tiles were incorporated into the individual ensuite bathrooms, adding a personal touch to each space.

The completed design project reflects the family's aspirations and desires, creating a living environment that caters to their specific needs while exuding a harmonious blend of functionality, elegance, and personal style.
