Mr. Hasan Private Villa

MEMAR architecture

Short description

The Memar Architecture team designed this villa in Nad Al Sheba with 1511.21 sq.m. built- up- area, following a modern approach with solid facades for the main side to ensure privacy for residents. However, the backside was designed with a combination of glass, porcelain tiles, and slat wood panels creating a calm and elegant mix. Wood slat walls were chosen to enhance the appearance and control the amount of light that gets into the villa. Louvers allow air and light in while keeping sunshine or moisture out.

The idea for the project emerged from a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including client requirements, site analysis, architectural principles, and design considerations.
The initial idea came from the client's request for a private and enjoyable view that brings serenity and relaxation. Through careful site analysis, the team considered the specific location of the project in Dubai, Nad Al Sheba. Factors such as climate, topography, and orientation were taken into account. This analysis informed design decisions related to energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and overall sustainability. Additionally, the concept was influenced by the idea of unlocking the full potential of the property. The design team approached the project with a mindset of maximizing space utilization

The private villa attempts to establish a harmonious interaction with its surroundings through its landscape, including a swimming pool, green space, and sitting spots. The design was carefully considered to complement the site's natural features and improve the overall experience. Furthermore, the design takes into account the urban context. The positioning of windows, balconies, and outdoor seating areas is carefully considered to maximize privacy while still allowing them to enjoy views of the surrounding area. The project's overall sustainability is enhanced by its transparent floor-to-ceiling windows that are used to intentionally integrate with the landscape. The design lowers the need for artificial lighting and cooling resulting in energy efficiency and a less environmental impact

The villa incorporates insulation materials and techniques. High-quality insulation materials, such as eco-friendly insulation panels and double-glazed windows, are used to minimize heat transfer and maintain a comfortable indoor environment.

Additionally, the villa features shading devices such as the wood louvers, which regulate sunlight and minimize heat gain during the hot UAE climate. Renewable energy sources also integrated into the design, such as solar panels and solar water heaters, to generate clean energy and reduce reliance on traditional power sources.
As a central element of the design, glass has various advantages for sustainability. It permits a lot of natural light to enter, lowering the need for artificial lighting during the day and consuming less energy.

Our project's strong point is its functionality. The villa's design is precisely planned to make the most of available space and guarantee that every element has a specific function. The villa's utility is further improved by the incorporation of environmentally friendly technologies and passive design principles, which improve energy efficiency and overall environmental sustainability.

Aesthetically, our project exudes modern elegance and sophistication. The design incorporates clean lines, minimalistic elements, and a balanced color palette to create a timeless and contemporary aesthetic. The use of high-quality materials, such as glass, wood louvers, and porcelain tiles, adds a touch of luxury while maintaining a sense of eco-compatibility and sustainability.

The villa's defining characteristic is its ability to provide residents with a holistic living experience that caters to their physical and emotional well-being. The seamless connection with nature, the abundance of natural light, and the harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor spaces create an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. The design promotes a healthy and balanced lifestyle, allowing residents to truly relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings. Our project establishes a new benchmark for great domestic design by providing its fortunate occupants with a tranquil and opulent safety.
