Short description

To solve privacy and noise issues in offices we developed our soundproof phone booth Poddie Phone. Poddie Phone is a 1m2 private office in which you can take phone calls, do video conferences or focus on important work - without being distracted.

Our vision for Poddie Phone is to solve the need for private spaces in offices on a big scale. Therefore we focus on three pillars:
1) stylish and minimalistic design, 2) high usability and 3) affordability.

We are obsessed with good, consistent quality and customer satisfaction. Therefore we started our own manufacturing facility where we produce our Poddie phone- and meeting booths.
Our key element to deliver an affordable product is our distribution model. We sell directly to our end users without working with traditional intermediaries.
Direct selling and own manufacturing combined are absolutely unique and enable us to be 2-3 times less expensive (2.600 vs. 8.000 Euro) than competitors.

Poddie's entire design is based on long product life and the potential to meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
We went for a simple, rectangular shape that would naturally fit into any office space, giving the Poddie Phone a minimalist and clean look. White and anthracite are timeless exterior colors.
The interior surface of our Poddie Phone is a gray acoustic felt that offers excellent sound absorption and is insensitive.
Our double layered table with power socket looks great and is also a structural element of the phone booth.
The finishing touch is the big glass door, fitted with a high quality brushed stainless steel door lock.

Our product philosophy is to produce a phone booth that has all essential functions and is a pleasure to use.
Videocall optimized light, ventilation rate of 4,6m3 / minute and soundproof glass door with custom-made gaskets are quality-criteria.
The big 30 x 80cm table has two compartments that offer plenty space for a laptop and all sorts of other stuff.
To create a good soundproofing experience we created a 4-layer wall structure and have special constructed acoustic traps in bottom and ceiling module.
Optionally, you can even add a Moving-Kit to your Poddie to move it after the installation on rolls.

Our phone booths are made to last and have an expected lifespan of 20+ years.
We are using only FSC certified wood - the main component for the production of our phone booth. Our interior acoustic felt is made of recycled plastic bottles.
Podde phone is completely packed into several cardboard boxes. End Users can easily dispose it after self assembly of the phone booth.

We are happy that interest for Poddies is growing outside of Germany. Therefore we are offsetting all transports to customers - climate neutral delivery!
