Quarter Circle

Urbesign Interior & Architecture

Short description

The design blends the client's medieval artistic background into an exploration of emptiness. Molding the interior with the mentality of returning to nothingness, texture and position summon out an invisible design. The dominant use of black and white imbues the atmosphere with vast expanses, inviting the client's artistic mind to roam freely within the sculpture-like interior. Natural light and warm-toned lighting further enhance the interplay of light and shadow.

Embracing the essence of space, the concept of zeroing is employed to harmonize all through the fusion of black and white. White lines, paint, wood grain, accompanied by shades of grey and black, reveal the intangible abundance within the space, symbolizing spiritual richness. The quarter-circle structure creates suggestive dotted lines, forming entrances and corridors, enhancing flow and spaciousness. The layout evenly distributes light, reserving it for communal areas, fostering emotional warmth for the family.
