The client is a renowned denim manufacturer based in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, known worldwide for producing exceptional high-quality denim products.
As a prestigious brand with fans around the globe, they sought to explore new ways to experience denim in everyday life, leading to the concept of creating a new café brand that offers a refined space embracing denim.

To fully realize the client’s vision with the highest level of quality, we engaged in comprehensive brand development, covering everything from concept design and graphics to product and spatial design, with our team responsible for the interior design of the café.

The flagship store is located on Kojima Jeans Street, a popular tourist destination in Okayama.
Stepping inside the modest wooden structure, visitors are greeted by a simple yet elegant interior, featuring natural wood and white walls as the base. Subtle accents of soft peach tones inspired by the region’s famous white peaches add a refined touch throughout the space.

A gallery area bathed in gentle natural light displays coffee beans packaged in denim, symbolizing the store’s identity. This carefully curated environment removes visual noise to create a space where both newcomers to Kojima denim and passionate fans can appreciate the fabric intimately.

The café counter is designed using actual denim fabric, and denim-based artworks are exhibited on the walls, allowing visitors to visually experience the quality and charm of Kojima denim.

Our design aims to support the client’s new endeavor by maximizing the appeal of denim and creating a space that fully reflects its unique character.
