Short description
Sarape It is a light experience together with an ephemeral gastronomic proposal. The main objective was to convert the void into content, intertwining time and space with the aim of creating a visually spectacular environment and in an abstract way. The contrast is the mirrored tables that allow the diner to feel in a different environment with each change of tone. Assembled in just 48 hours, the lighting has to do with the concept, the interstellar film where an attempt was made to make a representation of the Mexican serape and its colors. The way that was chosen was through 3,000 tubes and strips of transparent and white acrylic .9w woven together, 24 projectors programmed to project the different colors of 7 different serapes, with transitory changes every 10 minutes Reinterprets and honors the serape in various ways with a series of walls in different cloths and with different colors, with a lamp of 90m2 and with a 7m wall of diagonal mirrors that, with the reflection, generates some abstract serapes, thus the vibrantness of each color could be simulated. They were placed randomly to give that idea of the space that in some areas there is more crowding of lights and in some others fewer lights were placed. This effect was emphasized by adhering the cloth canvases to be able to give stages of organic forms and proximity and distance from the lights with the falls of the cloth. A special LED was selected that had a temperature neither too cold nor too warm, 2700k so that the sum of the strips would create an atmosphere of diffused and dim light where a pleasant and enveloping lighting is created since the user feels immersed in the space created. .
