Thanks to its highly dynamic adaptive structural design, the SEROVA Children's Growth eyeglass frame can continuously adapt to the facial and head shape changes of children aged 6 to 12, effectively meeting their diverse needs during peak physical development, such as stable wear and excellent breathability during vigorous activities.
In fact, a well-fitted frame is as crucial as the lenses in children's vision correction. Only a properly designed frame can ensure that optical defocus lenses achieve their intended visual regulation effect. Based on this, SEROVA introduces a pioneering three-point mechanical support design in the field of children's eyewear. Through adjustable nose pads, retractable temple hinges, and finely tunable lens rim curvature, the frame provides precise multi-point support for children’s head and facial structures, effectively accommodating morphological changes during growth. This ensures the lenses remain stably positioned 10 to 12 millimeters directly in front of the visual focus, the optimal optical distance, guaranteeing precise projection and sustained stability of the defocus zone.
The nose pads on both sides are made of skin-friendly micro-textured silicone and feature a widened design to effectively distribute pressure on the bridge of the nose, enhancing comfort. Their inner surfaces are treated with micron-level textured patterns to increase friction with the skin while reducing oil absorption, improving slip resistance. Additionally, the nose pads incorporate a micro-channel structure to guide sweat away smoothly during physical activity, preventing sweat accumulation, reducing discomfort, and minimizing the risk of frame displacement due to frequent wiping, further ensuring wearing stability and user experience.
Both nose pads support a 4mm vertical adjustment to ensure consistent alignment between the pupils and the optical center of the lenses.
The front half of the temples adopts an ergonomic micro-curved design to avoid pressure on the temple area. The material is a composite with high elasticity, excellent toughness, and structural strength, balancing durability with flexible adaptability.
At the connection between the temples and the ear tips, a three-level, 9mm adjustable elastic clasp is designed, allowing children to personalize the fit according to their head shape, maintaining a consistent eye-lens distance.
During the 6-to-12 age range, children’s head shapes undergo rapid development. SEROVA’s multiple adjustable features ensure the frame structure continuously adapts to the evolving head and facial contours of children.
Moreover, the frame’s overall design incorporates an ergonomic 54.8 mm curvature radius arc, ensuring a high degree of fit with the child’s facial contours, enhancing comfort and stability while preventing slippage.
The temple ear hooks feature a split-structure design, with soft silicone used in the area near the ear for comfort. Their spiral shape forms a channeled sweat-wicking groove, improving shock absorption and breathability while facilitating sweat drainage around the ear area.
