Summer Apartment
Bohrer Arquitetos

Short description
Blending lightness, functionality, and a contemporary approach to materials, the project in Londrina expresses creativity in every corner. Spanning 97.85 sqm, the apartment stands out for its bold color palette and visual strategies that explore contrast, layered surfaces, and geometry, shaping an immersive and thoughtfully composed atmosphere.
The color composition is one of the central elements of the Summer Apartment. Deep greens cover parts of the walls and cabinetry, while whites, beiges, and shades of gray balance and soften the spaces. Punctual touches of orange and blue add personality to the ensemble. A highlight is the use of colored acrylics, which introduce playfulness through transparency and color layering, creating a dynamic visual interplay.
The social areas are integrated, without partitions, yet subtly zoned by the ceiling color. The entrance is defined by a white ceiling, while the living room, dining area, and kitchen are highlighted by a green ceiling, creating a visual division that maintains the flow of the layout. Lightweight, organically shaped furniture forms a carefully curated ensemble of signature pieces that reflect contemporary Brazilian design. Notable elements include a sculptural ottoman and armchair, as well as a modular shelving unit that contributes both function and personality. Other pieces from independent designers and local brands further enrich the apartment’s visual language.
Combining bold geometries, modern materials, and a focus on well-being, the project showcases the office's expertise in transforming interiors into sensory and emotional experiences. The result is a dynamic, expressive, and perceptive space, aligned with contemporary living, a synthesis of the studio's distinctive and versatile vision.
