Short description

"SA" is a design company co-founded by Alireza Emtiaz and Saqar Kahkdan in Shiraz, IRAN. In a brief introduction, Sa designs and manufactures sculptural furniture inspired by the heritage of Persian calligraphy.

The aim of this series is to test the visual possibilities of Sa productions without an interior context simply on a white background. Due to the fluid and figurative design of the product, it was decided to use a professional model. Whether it is still or moving, the model gives the objects a comprehensible scale and adds a sense of life to the images.

The assignment was to create a balanced arrangement of two or more objects. Also, the inspiration could be drawn by the arrangement of color or shape of products. In some cases, The photo crew mixed just one object with a model or even set the scene with a tall plant.
The case of use for images was not limited to press materials or internet-based media. Some of the compositions were inspirational for pop-up booths and shop vitrines. The photo session took place outside of Iran, hosted by a prop studio In Istanbul, Turkey.
