Tropical atmosphere

GreenTouch

Short description

The first request of the dear family was -please hide us from the surrounding buildings. And the second request was - we want to feel in a tropical resort.
The family was living in the apartment for a few years, barely out to to the garden.
The structure of the garden is challenging. The exit in to a long narrow hall and its getting wider on the side .
The idea was to create depth by using a metal retaining wall that holds the plants and contains to sets of benches,
One bench is in the narrow side replacing sitting chairs in one side, for the main eating table
The other bench is a corner bench that replaces the traditional outdoor sofas.
So it’s don’t get in the way of walking because it’s in the corner.
The wider area is used for the children,
An ninja climbing structure was planned to give the boys some activities .
Instead of traditional storage.
We designed a sliding door the cover the the storage area.

Planting- tropical evergreens plants like monstrea elephants ear, cardamon and more big leaves plants.
The planting in elevates made the small space looks bigger .
The tile was replaced with a unique hand made tile with stamping .
In the sitting bench we placed a fire pit the can be used a coffee table.
