Valera RXT

ECOsurfaces powered by Ecore

Short description

Delivering unmatched performance and promoting well-being in spaces where it matters most, Valera RXT offers much more than the traditional Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). This performance-driven flooring is designed to elevate commercial spaces with enhanced safety, acoustics and ergonomic support. The rubber-backed performance flooring solution is ideal for commercial spaces where safety and ergonomics are of the highest priority, including healthcare, corporate, education, hospitality and senior care settings.

Valera RXT showcases unmatched performance while remaining firmly rooted in ECOsurfaces’ dedication to comfort, safety and environmental stewardship. As the first performance surface plank, Valera RXT is meticulously crafted to cater to the visionary needs of designers and architects, offering not only the durability and visual appeal of resilient flooring but also the highest quality, sustainably sourced, upcycled rubber material available today.

As a leader in sustainable flooring solutions, ECOsurfaces is committed to providing architects and designers with eco-friendly products that elevate interior spaces while minimizing impact on the planet. Made with reclaimed rubber materials, the durable Valera RXT product has a force reduction of 6.0% and an energy restitution of 69.4% for its users, provides comfort underfoot and lowers in-room impact sound. Its innovative vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) backing elevates performance by providing ergonomic, acoustic and safety support to reduce joint stress and muscle fatigue, diminish noise and reduce the risk of injury from falls

Valera RXT is built using the company’s proprietary itsTRU® technology, a zero-waste upcycling process. With itsTRU™ technology, company flooring returns positive energy to the body to help people stay active longer, while reducing sound to create a quieter environment. It places a premium on safety, ergonomics and acoustics to ensure its floors can handle the needs of any application, including heavy, repetitive movement and those that require regular cleaning. The company offers floors that provide high durability, show excellent wear and provide low maintenance, making them the perfect fit for both health and wellness or architectural projects. itsTRU Technology provides versatile design aesthetics with the performance and durability demanded in commercial settings.

ECOsurfaces products are manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities where the focus is on continually improving efficiency and responsible resource management. To that end, the company has developed energy-efficient manufacturing processes that do not include smokestacks, use minimal water and little or no heat and reuse scrap to minimize waste.

ECOsurfaces, like its parent company Ecore, is committed to operating business and facilities in a manner that uses resources wisely and protects the quality of the environment and the health and safety of associates, families and communities. As the largest converter of reclaimed tire rubber in North America, Ecore has been transforming rubber waste for more than 40 years, now upcycling more than 430 million pounds annually.

The company’s manufacturing process has virtually no waste. Scrap material from the process is collected and recycled back into Ecore’s system because rubber can be continually recycled and does not degrade through the recycling process like paper or plastics. With state-of-the-art equipment, experienced staff and 100-million-pound capacity, Ecore is uniquely capable of producing the cleanest, most consistent and highest quality material available in the marketplace. Ecore also recently introduced its TRUcircularity™ program aimed at helping customers eliminate rubber waste by recycling and reimagining end-of-life rubber floor and achieve sustainable impact through circularity.
