Wasl Tower – A Vertical Ribbon in Dubai’s Skyline

Anique Ahmed

Short description

This photographic series captures the evolving relationship between Wasl Tower and its environment through wide, aerial, and detailed views taken at different times of day. Designed by UNStudio, the 302-metre supertall structure stands along Dubai’s iconic Sheikh Zayed Road, rising amid a dense network of skyscrapers, roads, and interwoven infrastructure that defines the city’s dynamic growth.

The tower’s fluid, twisting form is a carefully considered architectural response to its context. The sculptural movement of the façade reflects Dubai’s energy, adaptability, and ever-evolving urban rhythm. Through varied perspectives, this series highlights how Wasl Tower participates in the vertical dialogue of the city, seamlessly integrating into the complex urban fabric rather than standing apart from it.
