Yangong Ever Jewelry Flagship Store
Stylus Studio
Project description
Inspired by Yangon’s tranquil lakes, filled with an abundance of lily pads. Their biggest challenge in this project is to break away from the traditional jewelry store setting and create a multi-layer displays to showcase a range of jades in the high celling space with sophisticated lighting design integrated. Their circular plan successfully encourages guests to serpentine through the various ring-like display cases, to appreciate the most valuable jade in the world. Such a store layout can also maintain a smooth and continuous flow of customers. With the characteristics of the city in mind and the natural calming scenes, framed by windows extending from the ground level up to the 2nd floor, are employed to set the backdrop of the interior which renews itself as the seasons change. Luxurious materials, in soft and subdued colours, deliver a tranquil but opulent backdrop to highlight the magnificence of the jade but instead of the traditional rectangle or square jewelry store layout. In order to match the charm of the Ever Jewelry Store interior, they expanded their design scoop to design beyond the store, they used the famous red wood that is produce locally to create the store front facade. At night pairing with lighting effects, Ever Jewelry has become a building that is hard to miss from inside out. The symbiosis and co-prosperity of Yangon Water Garden and Gem Culture illuminates the new future of retail experience.
