LOOP Design Awards is an international programme recognising work across architecture, interiors, landscape, product design, architectural photography and related creative disciplines. Since its first edition in 2020, LOOP has brought together designers, studios and creative professionals through jury evaluation and annual recognition.

LOOP is an annual, multi-disciplinary programme focused on architecture and design. Entries are submitted to a specific discipline and category and reviewed by an invited jury. Recognised work is published in the LOOP archive, where each project keeps a permanent public page.

The top-level recognition within the LOOP programme. Themed “of the Year” awards, such as House of the Year or Hotel of the Year, sit at the same level.

Recognition dedicated to emerging talent, where applicable to the edition.

A physical recognition available to eligible awarded projects. Participants may have the opportunity to pre-order the trophy when entering an eligible submission. Final eligibility and ordering depend on the award result.

Jury & evaluation
LOOP entries are evaluated by an invited international jury of recognised architects, designers, landscape architects, product designers, professors, editors and photographers.
The process is built to reflect the breadth of the disciplines LOOP covers: each entry is judged within the context of its own field, on the material the studio submits.

Invited jury
Each edition is judged by an invited international panel of architects, designers, landscape and product designers, educators, editors and photographers.

Assigned by expertise
Entries are distributed to jurors whose practice matches the discipline and category of the work, so every project is read by people who know the field.

Independent review
Jurors review entries individually, on the material submitted. Assessments stay confidential between jurors during the review.
04
Discussion & outcome
Results are consolidated at the end of the review and recognition is confirmed per category before the edition is published.
