Bacio di Latte Picolés

Boscardin Corsi

Short description

Inspired by the creaminess of ice creams, the new architectural concept for Bacio di Latte's first Insane Popsicle store brings monochromatic ambiance and timeless sophistication as design bases. The repetition of popsicle mockups adds the touch, being the unusual and fun point. While the monolithic floor, textured walls and ceiling form a neutral set in contrast to the Travertine marble and golden metal.
The facade is pure, white as milk. With no visual interference, the entire store opens onto the mall. The vertical element in golden metal with the illuminated popsicle plays with hiding and revealing the store little by little. It is also a multifunctional piece of furniture that attracts attention from the front and from the back it accommodates the menu of traditional popsicles, paper towel dispenser and trash.
As Italian as gelatos, Travertine is the protagonist. The accessible bench, rounded and loose in the space, has a display of popsicles like irresistible jewels, with a shape and toppings imitating real flavors. It is a moment of interaction with customers, where it is possible to watch the preparation of the product, which begins with the fontana of hot chocolate or pistachio syrup and ends with toppings and sprinkles.
At the back of the counter, the wall that divides the service area from the back reaches half-height so that the window at the back appears, bringing natural light to the store. The symmetrical golden niche, below the digital menus, breaks the textured plane. Functional, it accommodates the horizontal popsicle freezer and the hand sanitizing tub.
The saloon area is free and open, with a monolithic bench positioned in the intimate corner for customers to remain. The rear has two large freezers for storing popsicles, stocking supplies and washing utensils.
The concept for the new Bacio di Latte highlights the purity of the materials and the minimal composition of the elements, which, with the necessary softness, support the explosion of colors and flavors of the popsicles.
