Parque da Luz
Architects Office
Short description
ARCHITECTS OFFICE's project for Dimas Construções redefines the interaction between city and nature in Florianópolis through a mixed-use residential development. Situated on Rua Felipe Schmidt, this project is strategically positioned near the Hercílio Luz Bridge and the expansive Parque da Luz, blending urban life with natural beauty.
The design features two towers crafted from natural materials like wood and stone, harmonizing with the local environment. The first tower, overlooking Parque da Luz, boasts larger residential units with panoramic 360° views and a dynamic facade enhanced by rhythmic planter boxes. The second tower, set behind the first, offers more compact apartments and features a grid facade, emphasizing privacy and a subdued urban presence.
The towers are anchored by a common base that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding topography. This base incorporates a vibrant mixed-use program, with an active facade designed to engage the neighborhood. It provides a gradient of experiences, from an open, inviting street-level area to more enclosed, private spaces, including reception areas and a garden.
Common areas are thoughtfully distributed across the development, with amenities starting from a private garden in the basement, transitioning to social spaces on the ground floor, and extending to rooftop areas offering city views and leisure facilities. The base and rooftop are designed to foster community interaction and well-being, blending public and private experiences.
ARCHITECTS OFFICE’s design aims to create a lively, balanced environment that reflects both the urban and natural elements of the neighborhood, enhancing the living experience through thoughtful integration with its surroundings.
