Ginga — Show Apartment 100 sqm
Category Winner 2026

Overview
A home for a family is never a matter of square meters alone. It is the shape everyday life takes as it unfolds in real time. A child underfoot while a parent finishes an email, a song from last weekend's road trip still lingering in someone's mind, a sofa where dinner drifts into homework and homework into one more bedtime story. This 100 sqm apartment was conceived for precisely that family: a couple in their thirties raising a five-year-old, drawn to music, forever just back from somewhere.
The living room expanded to hold both work and watchfulness within the same space, so that a laptop and an unfinished drawing might share a table without either one giving way. The child's bedroom was given a desk built to outlast the school years, while a sofa designed in-house by the studio embraces the entire social area, meeting the dining table head-on so that a meal gathers whoever happens to be near, rather than waiting for everyone to sit at once. The television remains out of sight from the entrance, allowing the apartment to reveal itself gradually, corner by corner. In the suite, a built-in bed with counter and mirror turns the morning ritual of getting ready into a brief, deliberate pause before the day begins.
None of this is decoration for decoration's sake. It is an argument: that a family show apartment can be conceived from the friction and warmth of real domestic life, work interrupted by play, privacy that still hears the rest of the house, a morning worth slowing down for rather than orbiting the empty, idealized image that most show apartments are built to sell.
