Overview

Located in a tranquil area of the Pearl River Delta, the Dazhuang Mingcheng combines tranquility with convenience, creating an elegant and comfortable living environment. Following the thoughts of the philosopher Thoreau on family, this project is designed for three generations of families with artistic tastes and a focus on quality of life. It emphasizes the impact of space and art on the environment and people, allowing residents to feel the integration of art and life, and experience the beauty and joy of family life. Upon entering the home, the foyer is appropriately adorned in the color of gold and stone, showcasing an ancient charm, while artistic decorations add a touch of liveliness. Vertical, elongated glass partitions guide the line of sight into the entrance, ensuring privacy while harmonizing with the lattice cabinets. This creates a sense of homecoming ceremony, displaying the stability, harmony, and brightness of "home." The spacious floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room bring grandeur and brightness, while the depth of the space gives it a unique and distinctive temperament. The interplay of dark and light colors forms a versatile space base that accommodates both movement and stillness. Inside the square living room, deep, stable wood colors contrast with light gray and off-white, resembling a dynamic painting of warm and cozy life. The addition of golden hues through lighting, stone coffee tables, and velvet chairs creates an elegant and peaceful living environment within the orderly space, performing a superb piece of artwork. Combining the square and the gentle, the fabric sofas and side chairs are arranged in an alternating manner, with a perfect balance of firmness and softness, creating an ideal space for family and friends to gather and chat. In the world of stone and fabric, art spreads from all around, becoming embellishments in the corners or entire wall collections. When people hide away, they present themselves in the objects, each with different backgrounds yet harmonious. A book or an ornament, their inner and outer postures are revealed in moments of quiet observation, becoming extensions of the homeowner's life interests and personal tastes, and serving as a "self" for people. The dining room stands adjacent to the living room, maintaining a stable color scheme while adding a sense of harmony. Square light pools cast warm light, while circular pendant lights reflect on the round stone table, embodying the traditional philosophy of heaven and earth in an invisible manner, quietly awaiting the time for family gatherings and feasting. With flowers, fine wine, bright colors, and dim lights, the intervals of dining and socializing exude a mist of warmth, surrounding intimate souls, forming cherished memories and longings within the moments of dining or passing by. The dining room is closely connected to the L-shaped semi-open kitchen. Whether it's the compact western-style kitchen coffee bar or the spacious and bright central kitchen, both primarily feature restrained dark colors, displaying understated luxury. As dusk turns to night, all things become quiet and the heart becomes tranquil. The master bedroom is written in mature and gentle shades of grey, with gold and stone shining in the flickering light, exuding a deep and mysterious charm. Sweet dreams are brewing within, becoming the prelude to the next day. As morning arrives, waking up with loved ones, preparing for a new day in a clean and gentle environment, the melody of life is played within the subtle movements and actions. The elder's room is simple yet tasteful, incorporating comfortable elements into a neat layout. Jungle-themed curtains, ocean waves depicted on paper, adjacent greenery and soft leather, all precipitate a sense of mature beauty. The children's room is small and exquisite, with a custom bed and desk defining the basic layout of the space. Jungle wallpaper and soft golden hues, along with plants and toys, become the keys to a child's imagination, quietly awaiting spiritual exploration. From the physical to the spiritual, the shaping of a person by "home" occurs silently, while art subtly allows the space to possess spirituality, providing a haven for the soul. Starting from home, let it be the first stop for people to explore the world; let it be the rest stop, offering warmth to weary souls; let it be the destination, unique and unparalleled, because it is the sanctuary for people's body and mind.
