Shippo

Shippo is a modular ceramic tea cup set that reimagines everyday tableware by fostering interaction, engagement, and play. Inspired by the traditional Japanese Shippo pattern, the cups are designed to be flipped upside down and interlocked like a jigsaw puzzle, transforming the simple act of tea drinking into an experience of discovery and connection. Crafted from ceramic, Shippo offers a smooth yet sturdy feel in hand, enhancing the sensory experience of tea drinking. The gradient accentuates the fluidity of the design, subtly emphasizing movement and transformation—two central themes of the project.
