LEGEN – THE STEEL FOREST

Specifically designed for Legen, a pioneering brand of desk hardware, LEGEN – THE STEEL FOREST innovatively translates its core products into a visible spatial structure. By utilizing the brand’s core steel components for office furniture as primary materials and extracting their intrinsic structures to form the architectural skeleton, the project creates a deep fusion of products, components, and architectural space.

Centered on the theme of “the steel forest,” the project breaks away from the homogenized logic of traditional exhibitions based on fixed product displays. Instead, it transforms Legen’s metal components into an architectural framework, allowing the brand’s precision craftsmanship and the structural logic of its products to become part of the spatial experience.

Eschewing traditional solid partitions in favor of a decentralized, free-flowing layout, the exhibition creates an open and exploratory circulation experience for architects and other professional visitors. At the same time, its modular and expandable system demonstrates how standardized components can be integrated into flexible spatial configurations, revealing the potential of Legen’s products beyond their conventional role as furniture hardware.
