Overview
NEON GOTHIC 01 – NIGHT FLIGHT
A residential interior exploring the tension between darkness, reflection and saturated light.
Black marble, oxidized metal, mirrored surfaces and controlled color create a space designed around identity rather than neutrality.
Rather than treating darkness as the absence of light, the project approaches it as an architectural material capable of revealing texture, depth and atmosphere. Reflections dissolve visual boundaries while carefully positioned lighting continuously reshapes the perception of space throughout the day.
MATERIAL & LIGHT
The interior is built through contrast: reflective surfaces against oxidized metal, black marble against raw concrete, and warm saturated light against a predominantly dark architectural shell.
Light is treated as a material in itself—used to define depth, reflections and focal points rather than simply illuminate the space.
Every finish was selected not only for its physical qualities but also for the way it responds to light, creating an environment that constantly changes without altering its architectural identity.
PRIVATE SPACE
The bedroom continues the same material language in a quieter register. Dark surfaces, warm reflections and controlled color create a more intimate atmosphere, shifting from the social energy of the open space toward retreat and enclosure.
The transition between public and private areas is achieved through changes in light and material rather than through abrupt stylistic differences, maintaining a coherent architectural language throughout the project.
The space changes. The identity remains.
